As a young boy, Gerry Bruno spent all his time playing outside with his brother, cousins, and neighborhood friends. They pretended to be superheros, villains, cops, robbers, and anything else their imaginations could conceive of. Fast forward to present day, and Gerry is still creating stories on a daily basis. An award winning filmmaker with experience in theater, commercials, documentaries, and narrative film, Gerry began his career as a production assistant on the New York Film scene for little or no pay, but gained valuable experience. After graduating with honors from William Paterson University, Gerry co-founded a commercial production company where he sharpened his skills as a director and created short 30 second stories disguised as television commercials. In 2008, Gerry moved from New York to Little Rock, Arkansas, and became heavily involved with the growing Arkansas Film community, creating the Arkansas Filmmakers Forum to help local filmmakers network and communicate with one another. His latest film has been accepted to festivals across the globe and has won several awards including an Indie Fest award and a Gold Remi award.
